Location

Hotel Šipan is situated at the head of a long bay in Šipanska Luka, picturesque village set on the island Šipan. Its western facing perspective provides awe-inspiring sunsets.

How to get there?

If you are flying...:
Fly to the Dubrovnik airport and take a bus or a taxi to the Dubrovnik Harbor at Gruž, then take a small ferry-boat or speed boat to the ports of either Suđurađ or Šipanska Luka. These ferries run to the other famous Elaphite islands of Kolocep and Lopud on the way to Šipan Island. (Travel time from Gruž is approx. 1 hour).

If you are driving...:
Take the new highway towards Split, then the coastal road to Brsečine (20 km north of Dubrovnik). From Brsečine, there is a private boat taking you on a 10-minute boat ride to the island Šipan (Suđurađ). Transfer by car is arranged from Suđurađ to Hotel Šipan located in Šipanska Luka.

Two local companies, Jadrolinija and Atlant Agent, offer passenger-only services several times a day. You can take advantage of the daily local car ferry line as well, either as a passenger or with your car. Although it must be said that cars are generally unnecessary on Šipan.
